Cosplay: A contraction of 'Costume Play', i.e. the act of dressing up in costume.
I started cosplaying back in 2003 and my first costume was Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII. My sister made it for me and I wore it on halloween. The first real 'full' costume I made was KOS-MOS from Xenosaga: Episode 1 Der Wille Zur Macht.
I competed for a few years in masquerades and then started to focus on other projects in life. I've semi-retired from the cosplay world, but I still make costumes from time to time when I have the chance. From the Novice division, I am now a Master division cosplayer. Here are the costumes and awards I've accumlated over the past few years in this wonderful journey.
